The Inverness Castle Experience is a brand-new visitor attraction celebrating the true spirit of the Highlands. Open year-round and located in the heart of Inverness, it’s the perfect place for your guests to begin their Highland experience.
Next year, we will be delighted to offer groups of 20 or more, special visit times ahead of the general admission and with the services of a meet and greet host.
Our winter group booking time slots are 9am and 9.30am and can accommodate a maximum of 60 visitors per slot.
From April 2026, our group booking timing slots will be 8am, 8.40am and 9.20am.
What's included
Exclusive time slots for groups of 20 or more.
A dedicated meet and greet host to ensure your guests get off to a good start on arrival with all that essential information from toilets to accessibility.
One free group leader for every 20 paying visitors.
Each coach will receive a refreshment voucher for the guide and driver up to the value of £10 to be the Bistro. (maximum 2 per group)
Access to The Inverness Castle Experience; including the exhibitions, gardens, shop & Bistro.
Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building
What to Expect at the Experience
Coach groups are welcomed to The Inverness Castle Experience with timed entry, beginning with an introduction from the Seanchaidh storyteller before exploring the immersive exhibition, roof terrace, and galleries at their own pace. A full visit typically takes around two hours, with refreshments available at The Saltire Bistro.
Booking Process
When group bookings go live, you’ll be able to book group tours for 20 or more visitors by completing the enquiry form that will be available on this page. Once we’re ready, we’d be delighted to help you plan your visit.
