Education at The Inverness Castle Experience brings learning to life in the Highlands for people of all ages. As our program develops, it will inspire school trips, interactive workshops, hands-on work experience, apprenticeships and special events. Our programmes will connect education with culture, heritage and place. Whether you are a teacher planning a visit, a young person exploring career pathways, or a lifelong learner curious about the Highlands, the Castle will offer meaningful opportunities to discover, develop and be inspired.
Work Experience
Inverness Castle Experience will provide work experience days designed to give the students a comprehensive introduction to working in a Highland visitor attraction. Students will gain valuable insights into areas such as Visitor Services, Retail and Food and Beverage will receive support to apply for a role in the castle after the work experience workshop is completed.

To enable as many schools as possible to experience this brand‑new attraction, the standard group child ticket price will be reduced by 50% for this preview period.
