The Inverness Castle Experience is located in Inverness city centre, just a 10-minute walk (0.5 miles) from Inverness Railway Station.


Bike

There are 18 bike spaces in racks available within The Inverness Castle Experience grounds for visitors arriving by bicycle.  Cyclists are requested to dismount within the gardens of The Inverness Castle Experience.


Bus

Train

ScotRail and LNER operate regular services to Inverness Railway Station from destinations across Scotland, including Edinburgh, Perth and Glasgow. The Inverness Castle Experience is around 10 minutes (0.5 mile) walk from Inverness Railway Station.

Airport

Inverness Airport is 9 miles from The Inverness Castle Experience. The number 11 bus offers regular services from the airport to the city centre in 35 minutes. From the bus station in Inverness, it is a 10-minute walk to The Inverness Castle Experience.


Car

Visitors are encouraged to visit on foot or by bike where possible. If you are travelling by car, follow signs to Inverness city centre. The nearest large car park is Rose Street car park,  around 10 minutes walk from The Inverness Castle Experience. Click here for charges and full details.

There are many other smaller car parks, as well as on-street parking, available around the city centre.

EV charging is available at various car parks in the city centre, including Rose Street car park.
