The Inverness Castle Experience Welcomes the New Season with Extended Hours and Fresh Food Offerings
The Inverness Castle Experience is stepping into the new season with a range of exciting updates for visitors. From Monday 30 March, the experience will introduce extended opening hours, giving guests even more time to enjoy the rich stories, immersive experiences and outstanding views at the heart of the Highlands.
As the days grow longer, preparations are also underway for the launch of outdoor terrace dining for customers using the Saltire Bistro. This new addition will offer a relaxed setting with panoramic views across the city, creating the perfect spot to enjoy food and drink in the open air.
Inside, the Saltire Bistro is expanding its menu with a new selection of chilled ‘grab and go’ options designed for convenience without compromising on quality. Fresh, locally inspired flavours will give visitors a quick and tasty choice to enjoy on the move or while exploring the castle grounds.
For those with a sweet tooth, there’s another treat on the way: The Inverness Castle Experience ice cream pod, set to open on the grounds in the weeks ahead, adding a fun, seasonal twist to the visitor experience.
With longer hours, new dining options and exciting seasonal additions, The Inverness Castle Experience is ready to welcome both locals and visitors for a vibrant spring and summer season.
Steve Walsh, Chief Executive at High Life Highland, said: “Spring brings fresh energy to The Inverness Castle Experience. From extended hours and outdoor terrace dining to new chilled options at the Saltire Bistro and our soon‑to‑launch ice cream pod, we’re giving visitors even more reasons to spend time with us.”
Extended Opening Hours: April - May: The Experience 10 am – 7 pm (last admissions at 5 pm), Saltire Bistro 9 am – 7 pm (last hot food orders at 6 pm), Castle Shop 9 am – 7 pm.
