Join us in the Castle's Saltire Bistro for a free hour of live traditional music with Fiddler Mairi Thérèse Gilfedder (Beinn Lee) and pianist Alistair Paterson.

From 4 pm, relax in the warm surroundings of the Bistro and enjoy the beautiful sounds of fiddle and piano while you unwind with a drink, catch up with friends, or enjoy something from our menu. This informal performance offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and help celebrate the opening day of this year's Blas Festival.
