1.      General
These terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) apply to all competitions run by the operator of The Inverness Castle Experience, High Life Highland. They take precedence over any other related communications, including advertising or promotional materials. By entering the competition, all entrants are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please retain a copy for your records.

2.      Promoter
The promoter is High Life Highland, Highland Archive Centre, Bught Road, Inverness, IV3 5SS.  Unless otherwise stated, entries should not be sent to this address.

High Life Highland is a company limited by guarantee registered in Scotland (No. SC407011) and a registered Scottish charity (No. SC042593).

3.      Data Protection
High Life Highland takes data protection seriously. By entering the competition, you confirm that you have read the privacy policy of the platform used to enter and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Any personal information submitted as part of the competition will be held and processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).                         

4.      Eligibility
The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry.

Employees of High Life Highland, their agencies, or anyone professionally connected with the competition, along with their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse or life partner), are not eligible to enter.

5.      Opening and Closing Dates
The competition start and closing dates will be published via the relevant promotional channels. Entries received before the opening date or after the closing date will not be valid.

6.      Entry Requirements
No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

Entries are limited to one per person. Entrants must have access to the internet and a valid email address.

7.      Winner Selection and Notification
Within seven working days of the competition closing date, one winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

The winner will be contacted directly as soon as reasonably practicable and no later than 30 days after the competition closing date.

High Life Highland’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winner or the operation of the competition.

8.      Prize
The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

High Life Highland reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.

9.      Disqualification
High Life Highland reserves the right to reject or disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or where it reasonably suspects a breach has occurred.

10.  Liability
High Life Highland is not responsible for any technical, network or system issues that may affect entry, including but not limited to internet connectivity problems or delays.

11.  Changes or Cancellation
High Life Highland reserves the right to cancel, amend, suspend or terminate the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

12.  Acceptance of Terms
By entering the competition, all entrants confirm that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
