OOLIO UK’s flagship ‘SwiftPOS’ is a digital checkout and till system that uses award-winning technology to record customer sales, enable payment transactions, monitor stock levels and more. It will allow the visitor attraction’s business operations to run more efficiently and profitably.

Fiona Hampton, Director of the Inverness Castle project at High Life Highland, said: “We are delighted to welcome OOLIO UK as our EPOS provider for the Inverness Castle Experience. Their innovative system will enhance the visitor experience and streamline operations.”

David Cowell, Business Development Manager, OOLIO UK, said: “We are extremely proud to announce that High Life Highland has chosen us to install ‘SwiftPOS’ for their new visitor attraction, the Inverness Castle Experience.”

“This installation will not only elevate the quality of service but will also reinforce the trust and expertise that the OOLIO UK team brings to this exciting new venture.”

The Inverness Castle Experience, opening in mid-2025, will benefit from £30m investment to support its redevelopment from the Scottish and UK Governments, The Highland Council, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and a range of other partners.

The Inverness Castle project is part of the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal, which is a joint initiative supported by up to £315m investment from the UK and Scottish governments, The Highland Council, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and University of the Highlands and Islands, aimed at stimulating sustainable regional economic growth.
