Highland Hospitality: Tales from around the table

If you are a student studying in the Highlands and interested in hospitality, catering and tourism then we want to hear from you!

Do you have a special recipe you’d like to share? As part of the new Inverness Castle Experience, we would like to give you the opportunity to have your special Highland recipe included on the menu in the new visitor attraction’s restaurant. All you have to do is tell us how you make it, why it’s special to you and why you think it should be nominated to be part of the official Inverness Castle Experience’s restaurant menu? 

Your recipe will be another way for people visiting the Castle to share in the spirit of the Highlands’ past, present and future.  To help us select the winning entry, make sure you tell us the story behind your recipe, as well as the memories and connections it evokes.  Share how the food makes you feel, who it reminds you of, and how you would create and present your chosen dish.

There are no limits to what type of food you can put forward - anything from a biscuit to something more 'MasterChef' and anything in between!

What's in it for you?

If you are the winner of the competition your recipe will be included in the restaurant menu at the Inverness Castle Experience when it opens in 2025 and you will receive a £50 Amazon voucher! 

Judging will be by a panel of food and beverage enthusiasts.
